Being Peaceful Among Chaos

Strangely, I have been pretty zen during the current events. While some have been hoarding cleaning products and toilet paper I have been reading, meditating, and practicing yoga. While we are being sequestered to our homes, I have taken this as an opportunity to focus more on my inner world. This is something that I normally give a good amount of focus to anyhow and I am increasing these efforts even further now. This is a time for me to connect more deeply with my inner wisdom and my higher power. I do not know what is going to happen and I don't need to know. I trust that there is a plan that I am not privy to and I don't need to be. I try not to question God in this way as it is futile.
I have a crazy calm inside of me. I don't think it's crazy really, but others may find it to be so. Fear is contagious and I don't wish to feed that. I am not one who wants to get other people worked up and upset, but rather one who likes to soothe and comfort. I've been gravitating towards those who are emanating the peace I hope to spread myself. I attended two yoga classes today virtually. One was done as a facebook live and another as a zoom meeting. I am so grateful to these wonderful souls that are finding ways to support others during this time. They are a ray of light in what may otherwise be a dark time. If there was ever a need for yoga and meditation it is certainly now.
Since I have been home so much more than usual and during a normally exceptionally busy time of year, I have found myself creating again. I am working on my website and making tweaks to my brand that are more in alignment with my passion. Things are coming to me easily that can seem just out of reach. This is definitely a point for me to go within, recommit to myself, gain clarity, and grow in the direction of my dreams. The distractions have been removed unless I choose to get worked up about the current events. Fortunately, I don't watch the news normally so easy peasy lemon squeezey!
I invite others to join me in making the most out of this period we have to be still. To dive deep inside of ourselves and find clarity and peace. I also understand that perhaps what serves someone else could be vastly different. I do not claim to know what is best for anyone else. There are all types of learning and ways the universe helps us to discover things. Namaste
